Two weeks gone by - no blog - but lots going on:
Nephew got married in southern Texas...long trip!
Son turned 18 and is now driving!!
I have a new job assignment - though in the same office for the same pay - but with a little bit different responsibilities.
Thats about it!

Fiction 55 Friday!!

Fiction: “novels and stories that describe imaginary people and events”.
If that is the definition, I’m not so sure my Fiction 55 Friday entries are entirely accurate, as I tend to draw from personal experiences - or sometimes dreams – to write these little novelettes. I suppose fiction – real fiction – might be more interesting. Ya think?

Fiction 55 Friday!!

The pleading, cajoling, and frantic sighs of aggravation had to stop! Kit tried to contain her frustrations, but felt helpless. What will this morning’s interactions bring…a blank stare? Tenderly she began in silence. Biting her lower lip in anticipation, longing for success, she waited. After what seemed forever, a familiar reply: “Welcome, you’ve got mail!”

Fiction 55 Friday!!

Staring out the window at the snow-covered grass and northern exposed surfaces across the city, she smiles. Bright sunshine bounces off white crystals; the world looks crisp and clean. Black streets – wet and slushy - sharply contrast with flurry-filled medians. Turning back to the desktop, eyes adjusting from the glare – is it 5 o’clock yet?
